Day 1

Siliguri to Icchegaon Transfer

From Siliguri, our driver will drive to Icchegaon, a serene village in the Kalimpong District of West Bengal, located along the Silk Route. At an altitude of 5800 ft., Icchegaon provides a breathtaking view of the majestic Kanchenjunga.

After a scenic drive of approximately 90 km, which takes about 4 hours, you will reach Icchegaon. Upon arrival, freshen up after checking into your homestay. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure, either by exploring the village on foot or trekking to nearby villages. Enjoy a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner before retiring for the night at Icchegaon.

Day 2

Icchegaon to Reshikhola Transfer

Rise and shine, it's time for a thrilling journey to Reshikhola, a serene valley located by the banks of the Reshi River. Surrounded by lush forests and majestic mountain peaks, the village offers a peaceful retreat from the chaos of city life. After a 2-hour drive covering approximately 39 km, you'll arrive at Reshikhola. Take a break at your homestay, freshen up, and catch some rest. Go for a nature walk, breathe in the fresh, pollution-free air, and enjoy activities like fishing and swimming in the sparkling Reshi River. As the day comes to a close, return to your homestay for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 3

Reshikhola to Zuluk Transfer

On day three of the Silk Route Tour Package from Siliguri, you'll be embarking on an exhilarating journey to Zuluk. After a memorable stay at Reshikhola, start the day with an early breakfast and checkout from your homestay. The journey to Zuluk is full of sights to see, including the Quokhola Falls, a 100-foot waterfall that provides a breathtaking view. You'll also visit the vibrant village of Rongli, surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful Rongpo river. Keep in mind, you'll need an Inner Line Permit to visit the Old Silk Route, which can be arranged in Rongli.

Next, you'll travel to Lingtham, a picturesque hamlet known for its shimmering Bakhuter Khola river, pleasant weather, two magnificent monasteries, and tranquil atmosphere. After that, you'll visit Padamchen, a hilly settlement at an altitude of 8000 ft and just 4 km from Zuluk. This hamlet boasts a pleasant weather, stunning sunrises, numerous Himalayan birds, and breathtaking mountain peak views. Finally, you'll reach your homestay in Zuluk, where you can check in, freshen up, and take some rest. After some leisure time, feel free to explore the village and return to the homestay in the evening. Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Zuluk.

Day 4

Sightseeing in Zuluk & Transfer to Rolep

On this day of the Silk Route Tour, you'll be embarking on a short excursion to Zuluk. Start the day with a light breakfast and head out to visit the Thambi View Point, which offers a breathtaking view of a sunrise over the mountain peaks. From there, move on to the Gnathang Valley, situated at an altitude of 13,500 ft, providing a peaceful ambiance and stunning panoramic views. Don't miss the nearby temple and Buddhist Monastery.

Later in the day, visit the Jelep La Pass, located at an altitude of 13,999 feet. On the way, you'll come across the Old Baba Mandir, a temple dedicated to the renowned Indian soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh. You'll also get the chance to visit the beautiful Kupup Lake, an emerald green lake located at an elevation of 13069 feet.

After exploring all these stunning sights, return to your homestay in Zuluk to freshen up and begin your journey to Rolep. This beautiful destination, located in the Eastern part of Sikkim, is known for its lush greenery, gushing waterfalls, and rivers that are sure to rejuvenate you during your Silk Route Tour. After covering approximately 45 km by road, you'll reach your predestined homestay in Rolep. Take some rest and feel free to explore the village. Finally, after dinner, spend the night in Rolep.

Day 5

Drop at Siliguri

Today marks the end of your amazing journey in Sikkim. After a fulfilling and rejuvenating trip, it's time to say goodbye to this magnificent place and return to NJP or Bagdogra. The return journey promises to be just as memorable as the trip, with the stunning Teesta River and lush green alpine forests serving as your companions. Don't forget to make a stop at the Coronation Bridge, where you can admire the beautiful blue water of Teesta. Upon reaching NJP or Bagdogra Airport, the tour ends, but the memories you've made will last a lifetime.
