Day 1

Transfer to Gangtok from NJP

Silk Route Tour Plan for 3 Nights 4 Days starts when you will be received and picked up to proceed to Gangtok, the capital town of the Indian state of Sikkim. Reach Gangtok after covering a road distance of 125 km within 4 hours.

Upon arriving your pre-booked hotel or resort, check into your room and fresh yourself up. Now spend some time at leisure. The remaining days can be spent by exploring some nearby sightseeing places or wandering around the iconic MG Marg. Finally, after dinner, overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2

Transfer to Zuluk

You will be transferred to Zuluk on day 2 via Changu Lake, New Baba Mandir, Old Baba Mandir, Kupup Lake, Menmecho Lake, Lungthung, Nathang Valley and Thambi view point. Hence, after breakfast start an onwards journey towards Zuluk, a major tourist attraction in Sikkim.

On the way, first, visit Changu Lake. Also known as Tsomgo Lake, the lake has been created by a melted glacier. It is around 1 k.m. long and the density is about 50ft. in oval shape. Next, proceed to New Baba Mandir, a newly constructed shrine of Baba Harbajan Singh, completed in the year of 11th November 1982.
Just climbing several steps upwards, visit Old Baba Mandir and its Bunker. Stop at Kupup Lake next. Locally called as Bitan Chu, Kupup is one of the most sacred lakes of Sikkim, with high mountains and valleys bordering it. Proceed to Menmecho, a scenic lake surrounded by the unexplored pine forest and profound slopes.

Lungthung, Nathang Valley and Thambi Viewpoint will be your next destinations to explore. Visit Lunthung, Thambi viewpoint to catch an intense panoramic vista of the surrounding and Lungthung to enjoy the perfect tune of nature's serenity.

Day 3

Transfer to Aritar

On day 3, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Aritar via Rongli, Lingtham, Quokhola Falls and Padamchen. Known for its natural and landscaped beauty, Aritar is a tiny hamlet nested in the edge of Himalaya.

On the way to Aritar, stop to explore Rongli after having a special permit to enter. Bounded by green lush vegetation, it is a scenic village known for offering a breathtaking view of the mighty Himalayan range and the natural serenity.

Proceed to Lingtham next, a picturesque hamlet situated at an altitude of 5000 feet above the sea level, the hamlet is popularly known for its snaking Bakhuter Khola River, pleasant weather and the two magnificent monasteries.

Your next sightseeing places to explore will be Quokhola Falls and Padamchen respectively where Quokhola is a captivating waterfall offers the finest natural tune of cascading water and Padamchen offers a peaceful ambience to forget the stress of life.

Day 4

Transfer to NJP

Start the day early by waking up early in the morning, have breakfast and get ready to check out from the homestay to start the returning journey towards NJP. One the way, if time permits, spend some time at the iconic Coronation bridge to enjoy a great view of the shimmering Teesta flowing underneath. Reach NJP after covering approximately 110 km of driving distance. FAQs

During your Zuluk Tour, sufficient amount of warm clothes are required. Although during the day time you will feel a bit warmer but nights are comparatively more chilling.
The best time to visit is in Summer season i.e. from March to May. Months of winter are too cold and most of the places remains snow covered. However, Monsoon season should be avoided as the roads become inaccessible due to landslides.
