Kupup Lake is one of the high-altitude lakes located in Sikkim. Even though the Silk Route Region has a plethora of high-altitude lakes, Kupup Lake has its own kind of charm and beauty. Also known as Bitan Cho among the locals, in order to reach Kupup Lake, you need to climb up the mountains, struggle through the hairpin bends, and finally, in the end, you will be greeted by a gleam of the water body.
