There are lots of sightseeing attractions available to explore in and around Kagey. Kagey Top is one of the major attractions nearby. In order to reach there, you have to do a 1 km uphill trek. Jhakri Falls, which stands 50 feet tall, is a 15-minute walking distance away from the village. You may even bathe in the falls' foothills if you're looking for an adventure. Kagey is like a scene from a fairytale for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The town church, a monastery, and the charming village school are all within 3 kilometers. The Ramitey Dara viewpoint, which overlooks the school and has the greatest view of the Teesta River's meandering course, is well worth seeing. By Flight: Bagdora Airport, at a distance of around 145 km, is the only airport nearby to the village. From the airport, it would take around 5 hours to reach the village.
By Car: There are many car rental agencies offering their vehicles to be hired to help you reach this beautiful location. You can rent a car from any major nearby city. Best Time to Visit this Village
Kagey can be visited at any time of the year except for the season of Monsoon due to the frequent landslides and the muddy roads. October to May is considered to be the best time to visit Kagey because of the splendid view of the Kanchenjunga you will be going to witness, along with the lush greenery and the blooming flowers.
