Day 1

Transfer to Kalimpong

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP, you will first get to know our smiling representative. After, the greeting process, proceed to Kalimpong. Sited in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal, Kalimpong is a bustling town, a traveller's first choice to visit during their tour to Silk route. The jaw-dropping view of the mountain peaks, numerous blooming flowers and a plethora of ancient architectures of Kalimpong captivate tourists towards it.

Reach your predestined accommodation covering a road distance of 72 km. After being fresh, stroll around the town. Evening at leisure and finally, overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Day 2

Kalimpong Local Sightseeing and Transfer to Sillery Gaon

The next day morning wake up early, have breakfast and get ready to have a mesmerizing local sightseeing excursion in Kalimpong. Visit Durpin Dara Hills and its Tibetan Monastery. From the higher terrace of this Buddhist Monastery, you will witness a breath-taking view of the entire Kalimpong Town, Teesta and Reang Rivers flowing along with the mighty Kanchenjunga peak in the backdrop. Dr Graham's Home was constructed by Dr J A Graham in the year of 1900 as an orphanage cum school for the poverty-stricken Anglo-Indian children. Walk around it to relish the beauty of the school from outside.

visit Deolo Hills next and have lunch on the way. Deolo Hills is vast stretch lush parkland covering across 8 acres with trimmed flower gardens and several viewpoints offering an astonishing view of Kanchenjunga. Hanuman Mandir rested on the hillside of Kalimpong is the next destination to visit. Hike towards this temple to get a stunning view of the Himalayan Peaks. On a sunny day, the state of Sikkim and the surrounding landscapes of lava and Kafer hills are also clearly visible. After sightseeing, you will be transferred to Sillerygaon. It is a pristine village situated at an elevation of 6000 feet and just 25 km driving distance way from Kalimpong. Day 3

Transfer to Padamchen

Wake up early to have breakfast and get ready as you are being transferred to Padamchen, one of the captivating hamlets in the entire Silk Route region and just about 45 km away from Sillery Gaon. On the way to this serene hamlet, visit other truly attractive sightseeing places like Rongli, Lingtham, Quokhola Waterfalls and Nimachen. Nestled in the bank of Rangpo River, Rongli is a pictorial village in the Eastern Sikkim from where you need to collect ILP (Inner Line Permit) to enter Silkroute.

After adorning the beauty of the jaw-dropping view of the snow-peaked mountains at Lingtham and witnessing the cascading water of Quokhola Falls, resume your journey again towards Padamchen. Upon reaching your predestined homestay, you can either relax in the room or wander around the village. Finally, after being served a delicious dinner, spend the night here at Padamchen.

Day 4

Zuluk Sightseeing Excursion

Wake up early in the morning as it is the day to have a short excursion to Zuluk. First, visit The Thambi View Pont. Situated at an altitude of 11000 ft, Thampi gives a chance to catch a glimpse of a majestic looming over the snow-peaked mountains. Your next destination is none other than the iconic Gnathang Valley which is situated at an elevation of 13500 ft, idle for having a panoramic view of the surrounding. The nearby temple and a Buddhist Monastery can also be explored if you want.

Later proceed to visit Jelep La, a breathtaking Pass located at an altitude of 13, 999 feet. However, one the way, stop to visit Old Baba Mandir, a magnificent temple built in the memory of a great Indian Soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh. You will also be taken to witness a breathtaking Lake named Kupup which is located at an altitude of 13069 feet. This green emerald lake is assuredly a piece of paradise due to its scenic surrounding and peaceful ambience. After exploring all these sightseeing places, return back to your homestay and fresh yourself up. Spend the evening at leisure with your near ones or by reading your favourite novel. Day 5

Transfer to Mankhim

On day 5 of this Kalimpong Silk Route Tour Package, you will be transferred to Mankhim. Hence, wake up early, have breakfast and check out from the hotel to be driven towards Mankhim, a scenic hilltop village near Dalapchand. It is a perfect viewpoint to catch a glimpse of the stunning view of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan Peaks. On a clear day, the iconic Lampokhari Lake is also visible from here.

Day 6

Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP
