Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Reshikhola

Upon reaching Bagdogra Airport or NJP, you will get to see our smiling representative who will be there to receive you. After the greeting process, you will be transferred to Reshikhola. Situated at an altitude of 2000 feet and nestled at the bank of river Reshi, Rishikhola is a perfect hideout to escape the bustling city crowd.

Reach your per-booked homestay after covering the journey distance of 4 hours. Check into the homestay to take some rest. Relish the natural phenomena of the hamlet in the rest of the day. Wander around the village or try angling in the shimmering Reshi River. Finally, after dinner, spend the night here at Reshikhola.

Day 2

Transfer to Zuluk

Zuluk, the fascinating hilly hamlet is one of the major attractions of Silk Route. After a light breakfast at the homestay at Reshikhola, you will be transferred to Zuluk. On the way, stop at many other sightseeing places like Rongli, Lingtham, Quokhola Waterfalls and Padamchen. In the way towards Zuluk, stop at Quokhola Falls, a 100 feet waterfall. The cascading water of it creates a melodious natural sound which is truly a visual treat to the eyes and soul. Visit Rongli next, a tiny village surrounded by lush greenery all around. The shimmering Rongpo river crosses through the village which increases the beauty of it.

Your next sightseeing will be at Lingtham, a picturesque hamlet situated at an altitude of 5000 feet above the sea level. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the snaking Bakhuter Khola River, its pleasant weather and the two magnificent monasteries. Padamchen will be the last one to visit before reaching Zuluk. It is a hilly settlement just about 4 km away from Zuluk. The enjoyable weather, a enthralling sunrise, several Himalayan birds and the breath-taking view of the mountain peaks specially Kanchenjunga makes it a worth visiting settlement.

Reach the homestay at Zuluk after a journey of 2 hours and covering a road distance of 46 km. You are free for the rest of the day to wander around the village. In the evening, witness a memorable sunset which can be captured in a photographic form. Finally, after a delicious dinner, overnight stay at Zuluk.

Day 3

Zuluk Sightseeing and Rolep Transfer

Zuluk, the prime attraction of Silk Route is full of sightseeing places. So, start the day by visiting Zuluk's some of the renowned attractions. Start with visiting Thambi View Pont, a perfect viewpoint at an altitude of 11000 ft. Being located at a high altitude, a majestic sunrise looming over the mountain peaks can be seen from here. Next, visit Gnathang, a Valley situated at an altitude of 13500 ft. above the sea level. Here you can enjoy a peaceful ambience and breath-taking panoramic view of the surrounding valley. Moreover, there are two Buddhist Monasteries to explore too.

Visit Jelep La next, a spellbinding motorable pass situated at a height of 13, 999 feet. On the way, visit Old Baba Mandir, a temple made in the remembrance of Baba Harbhajan Singh, a brave Indian Soldier. Visit Kupup Lake next. Located at an altitude of 13069 feet, this emerald lake provides a soothing environment which will provide calm to your distressed soul.

After completing the Zuluk sightseeing, you will be transferred to Rolep, another hilly settlement in Silk route. Cover approximately 45 km of driving distance to reach the hamlet. Evening at Leisure and day three of 3n 4d silk route package tour ends after staying overnight at Rolep.

Day 4

Transfer to NJP or Bagdogra

3n 4d Silk Route package is going to end today. So, after a light breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a retuning journey towards NJP or Bagdogra. Reach your desired station or airport after covering approx. 120 km. This is how the tour plan ends but with countless sweet memories.

Yes, permit is required to visit Silkroute. All Indian Nationals are required to submit a photocopy of ID proof and their passport size photograph in order to avail the permit. At Zuluk Tour, we will assist you to arrange the permit for Silkroute Tour. Please note that foreign Nationals are not allowed to visit Silkroute.
To enjoy snowfall in Silkroute, you must plan the tour during winter season i.e. from November to February as the entire valley is covered with snow during this period. However, you should remember that due to extreme snowfall most of the places in higher altitude remains inaccessible and you might not be able to visit all the places.
Yes, senior citizens and infants are allowed to visit Silkroute. There is no such age restriction, however visiting the place completely depends on their own choice. But anyone having high altitude sickness or heart conditions are suggested to avoid visiting Silkroute.
